FAQS

Q. What is Enterprise Data World (EDW)?

A. Enterprise Data World (EDW) has long been recognized as the most comprehensive educational conference on Data Management in the world. Taking place over five days, 80+ speakers will present a diverse schedule of programming that addresses every level of proficiency.

Several simultaneous topic tracks and the variety of sessions (Keynotes, Tutorials, Case Studies) make it easy for each of our attendees to tailor their ideal agenda!

Q. When and where will EDW 2024 take place?

A. EDW 2024 will take place March 25-29, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, FL.

Q. How is 2024's EDW different from Fall 2023's EDW?

A. EDW in Spring has long been the largest and most comprehensive event dedicated to Data Management, and we expect this to continue. September's EDW had a slightly different format (4 days instead of 5), but otherwise, the two events are very similar in structure and focus outside of their different locations.

Q. What takes place each day?

A. We will kick off with the Women's Program on Sunday afternoon (March 24th) and Half-Day Tutorials on Monday morning and evening (March 25th). The Conference Program (including Conference Sessions, Keynotes, and Sponsored In-Perspectives) and Exhibits take place Tuesday-Wednesday (March 26th-27th). And we end the event with either One-Day Workshops on Thursday only (March 28th) or Two-Day Seminars taking place Thursday-Friday (March 28th-29th), depending on your registration option.

We'll also be conducting a NEW program Women in Data Management and Governance. This event, taking place Sunday at 2:00pm, is automatically included in your conference registration, and all are welcome. More details to be announced!

Q. How do I get to speak at the conference?

A. Most of the sessions are selected through a Call for Presentations (CFP) process. The CFP for EDW 2024 is now closed, but if you'd like to be notified when the next CFP opens, please sign up here.

Additionally, some sessions, such as Keynotes and Panels, are developed through specific invitations to the speakers. There are also some vendor speaking sessions that are identified on the program agenda as “sponsored.”

Q. Who is sponsoring?

A. See our full list of sponsors here. Join them on the exhibit floor during the posted hours Tuesday through Wednesday, and make sure to join our Exhibit Reception Tuesday evening for light appetizers and cocktails + networking!

Q. How do I become a sponsor?

A. Email warwick@dataversity.net for more information on how to become a sponsor for this event.

Q. Where do I book a hotel room?

A. Learn about the hotel, parking, and transportation on our Travel Page

Q. Do you offer CDMP® testing at this event?

A. EDW satisfies the continuing education requirements of the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP®) credential. EDW 2024 will also offer time slots for attendees to take CDMP Exams. See our Certification Page for more details.

Q. Does my registration include meals?

A. Yes! Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks (a morning and afternoon break) are included for any days you're registered Monday through Friday. Dinner is not included.

Q. Will my registration include access to any recorded sessions?

A. All in-person registrants* receive access to DATAVERSITY Training Center's Essential Subscription for one year, which includes EDW 2024’s recorded sessions and all face-to-face conference presentations + webinars, podcast episodes, product demos, case studies, and online conferences, as well as the complete catalog of “What Is…” on-demand courses, and all related insider content.

Essential Subscription access will be shared via email shortly after the event, with EDW 2024 videos becoming available within 4 weeks of the event.

*Applicable to all in-person registrations with the exception of the Exhibit Booth Pass registration option.

Q. What if I can't attend in person?

A. We offer three non-attendee subscription options at https://edw2024.dataversity.net/registration-welcome.cfm that will include access to all of the sessions recorded at EDW 2024, so you can watch on-demand in the comfort of your own home or office!

Access to all Non-Attendee Packages/Subscriptions will be shared via email within 2 weeks of the event, with EDW 2024 videos becoming available within 4 weeks of the event.

Q. What COVID-19 protocols will be implemented at EDW 2024?

A. In reviewing the current COVID-19 guidelines from the CDC, and the specific requirements in place in Orlando, FL, we will not be requiring proof of vaccination or negative testing in order to attend.

DATAVERSITY still recommends that all attendees take measures to manage their own health risks and protect themselves by wearing face coverings (masks) indoors, and being vaccinated with the latest available boosters at least two weeks prior to attending the conference.

Q. What if COVID-19 requirements change?

A. If conditions around COVID-19 change such that stricter protocols are required by any health authority with jurisdiction in Orlando, FL, then we will notify attendees immediately.

Q. What if my question wasn't answered above?

A. For registration questions, email registration@dataversity.net. For all other queries, email events@dataversity.net.
