Essential to Data Governance is strong organizational Data Quality capabilities: if our data are low quality, they won’t be trusted. Connecting directly to the frustrations and pain points of business colleagues and leadership, participants in this session will learn how to plan for and maintain meaningful organizational change to improve DQ and DG enterprise-wide. Concrete and actionable resources will be provided for implementing sustainable OCM centering common DQ pain points identified by business areas. Participants will learn how to develop and implement a change management plan around what business stakeholders value, increasing DQ competency across your organization and subsequently improving DQ outcomes metrics. Following this session, participants will be prepared to:

  • Formulate value statements from the perspective of a variety of business stakeholder groups and connect them to appropriate DQ metrics
  • Create key messages for business stakeholder groups to engage them in developing business-based DQ capabilities
  • Establish and implement an OCM plan centered on DQ to drive DG adoption
  • Monitor DQ capability maturity using DQ metrics
